I went for a walk

I love these Footpath signs in the Peak District.

This one seems to name half the towns, villages and hills in the Peak!

I walked Rushup Edge from the Chapel end until I could see the Great Ridge Mam Tor to Lose Hill. I also walked (and returned) a different path to see across to Kinder Scout over Barber Booth and Edale. In total I was out around 3 hours during which I never saw another person just sheep, 2 Red Grouse, 1 Meadow Pipit and a Raven.

I know it was a Monday afternoon in October but where was everybody - they were racing about in cars it seems.
