I would have put the extra as the main photo but when am I ever likely to get another photo of someone swimming in Grasmere in January. She did have a hat and gloves in addition to the swimsuit.

After a busy morning ......... laundry, car interior cleaning and leaf/twig sweeping, I realised that there had been no complaints from my ankle. So, after an early lunch I drove to White Moss and wandered along the riverside path to Grasmere. Only on the return, walking across the car park (which I don't use because of the cost), did I feel the sharp pain. Think I'm on the mend.
