DAY 3

We’re getting there. Today I got my normal visit from Mr Papaspyros. Now, I’ve got a lot of respect for this guy, he is the cardiac surgeon who saved my life after all. Recovery has been a painful process, especially on the night before last, but I’m on the mend now and keen to get home. Mr Papaspyros suggested I go downstairs with Weemo for a coffee when she came in for a visit, and I was impressed with the trust he placed in me to do this responsibly. After all, I trusted this guy with my life. However, Weemo and the nurses had other ideas, they were concerned for my health, so I didn’t press the matter too hard and I thank them for their concern!
