a lifetime burning

Here in the UK it is cold, dank and dark.  January in its grim greyness has a firm hold of the country.   Christmas with all its festivities is over.  We're in the long drag that goes on until Easter and Spring finally arrive.

Now, you might think that a fine dry provençal rosé was a wine that really should not be drunk in January, and I might agree with you.

But then, we would both be wrong.

For you see, Cathy likes such a rosé whatever the time of the year; she just enjoys it even more once the sun is out and the temperature makes sitting outside a pleasure.

... and the unique shape of this particular bottle with its beautiful salmon pink wine makes photographing it for blip a pleasure :-)
