Saturday Self-portrait

I know this particular image may not appeal to all, but I did want to incorporate Markus’ challenge into my self portrait today.  

I enjoy dressing up, creating a scene and planning for it…almost more than photographing it.  For this one I raided my loves man cave and pulled out this bear hide.  I did try a number of less ’scary’ scenes but none translated for what I was going for as well as this one.  

The challenge for this image is light and so I attempted this with the last of the late afternoon light behind me and the glow of a small candle in my hands.  Creativity is so much fun isn’t it?
