Clump of snowdrops

Another slow, fuzzy start to the day…bacon, egg, black pudding, mushroom, tomato and beans soon got me going. Still plagued by a chesty cough - a consequence of the cold I have had for the last couple weeks (which has almost gone now).

Housework and dog walking seem to have taken up most of the day. I did spot this little clump of snowdrops just emerging alongside the bridleway we walked today…it was so dark under the trees that I had to use some flash. I finished up having to use manual mode on the camera as the ‘A’ mode seemed to consistently overexpose the white flowers. I think the flash seems to behave differently in ‘creative’ modes…but I have just noticed that there is a flash adjustment option (doh) so I will need to investigate that.
