Saint Yves

 17 October 1253  - 19 May 1303
This statue was given to me by my Aunt Marie.  It used to sit on top of her huge Brittany wardrobe in the living room and I always loved it.  Saint Yves is the patron Saint of Brittany, Lawyers and abandoned Children according to Wikipedia.  A very interesting entry, should you want to know more.  Is it because I was born 17 October?  I have always felt something for this statue!  

Ro was off to footie and I decided to call on my friend to see if she was willing to go for a walk.  She was and we ended up in Earthlings.  I took a number of photos of the flowers on the table and outside but the lens was too steamed up!
