Dinner With a View

We spent the day in Monterey, starting with a class at the Apple Store—Drawing on the IPad, using the free Adobe Sketch app. The instructor was very knowledgeable, patient, and willing to answer all our questions. The app has lots of possibilities and it was fun to get an intro to some of it. I don’t think it’s going to replace actually handling art materials, but I’m going to practice a bit and then go down for another session—they give them regularly.

We went and walked off the class along the coastal path between the Monterey Aquarium and Lovers’ Point: herons and egrets and seals and these little sparrows, a beautiful ocean, and lots and lots of Sunday strollers, including a couple we know from home. An all around nice day.
