Very tired after a lost day but Mother was itching to go and see the local embroidery guilds annual exhibition. Some wonderful work on display. I was particularly drawn to the creative free form pieces whilst the beaded work was awesome. It was certainly worth the effort.
After catching up with a friend who owns a florist shop - where this image was taken - we enjoyed a coffee and toasted cheese roll then home where I lay down to rest and woke 4 hours later just in time to cook asparagus for tea!!
