*I might have (quite intentionally, I have to admit!) misconstrued Dante's verse ("Lasciate ogni speranza, voi ch'intrate"), as it is supposed to be the words written on the door to his Inferno. However, I find this door to the Old Cemetery in Montfort l'Amaury to be quite awe-inspiring. The inside is beautiful, though!
