A Wet Day

Steady rain this morning, but thankfully the river level has remained fairly stable.  I think this is due to the 'Slow the Flow' work that has been done in Hardcastle Crags.  This entailed building 'leaky dams' on the various streams, which slowed the flow of water into the main river, thus giving it chance to clear and not flood.
