Mono Monday - 4th Birthday

Having a little root in the kitchen drawer I came across a very appropriate accessory to photograph – a 4 candle saved from one of the grandchildren's birthdays. I pressed a newly baked Banana Loaf into use to hold the candle to be photographed.

Around 3.30pm the sky over the house went very dark and at the same time the sun broke through. And what a surprise was in store – a magnificent rainbow appeared and bu the time I'd fetched my camera it had become a double rainbow. It was so close to the house my 12mm lens could not capture the whole so I took some part images to stitch. It is one of these that is my extra for today.
