Halcyon days

I felt like doing something arty this evening so I got my pastel pencils out. I hadn’t realised that kingfishers were also known as mythical Halcyon birds (or maybe I had but I’d forgotten). Having seen my first ever kingfishers last year they are at the top of this year’s photography hit-list - watch this space.
