Colour!

It may be Blue Monday, but the heather is out, bulbs are pushing up, and the camellia bush is covered in buds!
The weather was so wet that a friend and I took the car up to the far end of the village for our Bookclub. We sat in a sitting room looking out on a  wonderful view of Corton Ridge beyond an attractive garden. 
Our book was the Age of Innocence by Edith Wharton - not our favourite choice despite being a classic - a portrait of society in New York which has long gone!
Delicious sea bream for supper tonight!
