Flow painting, a new art fad, very messy and uncontrollable.

My neighbor Elizabeth invited me to her home to make one of these. I thought we'd paint together, but no, she was volunteering to be my teacher. She was fascinated by the way I consistently refused to follow the rules. 

This is my first (and possibly only) attempt. Five inches square. I think I'm going to hang it up and study it. I take little responsibility, since it mostly painted itself. I texted Elizabeth two photos of the piece, which changes as it dries. She texted back, "I'm impressed with your commitment to have fun with art. A true artist, I think."
