Looking West

Heading south once again for. Couple of days at Twyford. I chose to sit on the left side of the train so that I would not be in direct sunlight all the way down. It turned out that this tactic did not work very well. The train is probably heading in a south eastern direction at least as far as Edinburgh. By the time the sun was not coming through the window to my left it was so low it was coming through the window to my right. I would have done better to choose a back facing seat.

I did manage to take this sunrise shortly after we left Aberdeen. I don’t think the sun rose much higher than it is in this photograph.
