String of lights

Coming back from buying wine at Roquessels I noticed another connections image in the sun shining on these telegraph poles. The vines are just beginning to change but are still mostly green. In the foreground you can see the shaley ground that they're grown in here - making excellent Faugères wines. It's said that a vine has to suffer by struggling for water to make good wine and that's certainly what happens here.

More light in the vines from my trip this morning.
