White Boxing Day

The snow came a day late ...

But we didn't have to go anywhere for a few days, so it worked out very nicely. I took my camera for a walk this morning up and around Selkirk Hill to make sure I captured some snow photos before it all disappeared. My photography doesn't really do justice to the beauty of it all.

My sister, my husband, my parents' dog and I all went sledging this afternoon. It's the first time ever my husband has been sledging! I'm not sure the dog enjoyed it much when I held onto her while we careered down the hill ...
