Ouch!

I've known for a while that needed a new gear cassette. Fine, it's more than gone past its 'sell by date'. But then, 'you'll need a new derailleur if you have that cassette'. Oh well, I suppose so, go on then. 'Oh, and you need a new chain if you have a new cassette'. 'Oh well go on then'. 'Oh, and your bottom bracket is worn and is grinding a bit'. Let me tell you, that there is nothing quite so unpleasant as a grinding bottom bracket. So by the end, all nice and shiny, my bike is a bit like Trigger's broom on Only Fools and Horses.
