Dedication

is required to be out canoeing in this evening - not only was it dark but it was also snowing and the not the fluffy kind.

However I suppose such dedication pays off - David Florence, triple Olympic medallist ,used to train here - I even spotted him when he was back for a visit after Beijing.

In today's other news I'm gradually settling into a rhythm at work and enjoying being able to focus more on key issues.
