Winter Hailstones!

Walking back from the library, on a cold sunny morning, I thought I had my blip sorted for the day. But I hadn’t reckoned on the change in the weather this afternoon...

Around 3pm the skies became so dark that I had to put the lights on, then we had the most tremendous hailstorm. Huge hailstones carpeted the garden, the houses, the road, in fact there was so much hail that it looked like it had snowed. Looking outside now, the garden is still white and the road and pavements are covered in slushy ice. With freezing temperatures forecast for tonight, the roads could be rather interesting tomorrow...
