Winter Wonderland

The first part of my journey from Edinburgh to Hinckley was running about 25 minutes late due to earlier problems.  Our journey through the snow covered central Scotland and the borders was beautiful - at least what we could see out of the grubby train windows.  

It was only once we were past the snow that we accumulated more delays until we were running over an hour late, and our train was diverted.  

I am now on an improvised route to my intended destination, hoping my ticket is valid for this service!  If am never heard from again, please, my dear fellow blippers, send search parties to the West Midlands!
