I like books.......

Our town centre library is a large public library offering an extensive selection of adult fiction and non-fiction books, photocopier, DVDs and music CD's, newspapers, children's library and events.

It offers a total of 28 computers for public use in the activeIT centre, seen in the background of my image, reference area and children's area.

The library has a small number of meeting rooms which are regularly used for meetings, for lectures and for classes of all sorts of community groups.
It is situated in the Shopping Centre adjacent to the cinema on the upper level, overlooking the ice rink.

We have smaller local libraries in every area of our town, but the town centre library is a very nice place to visit and spend a while browsing. Today as the schools are on holiday it was very busy, with lots of students using it for study, which is a nice option, for them, being able to study, then go for a snack with their friends.
