Train Trip

We all took the train today!

Family day out on the privately run train between Keith and Dufftown. It was great, the kids loved it.

Russell from the pub was driver. Never was there a more unlikely candidate for 'Volunteer train driver'. He let Sophie go 'Up Front' to blow the whistle. She didn't so I did it for her.

Great fun. A steam Loco will be there in a couple of weeks. It's given me an idea for a competition. It'll also give me an excuse to talk through the details with Russell from the pub. :-)

Leo loved it too. The excitement tired him all out and shortly after he was sound asleep.
