Eventually

After a flurry overnight and a very heavy shower around 9.00 am the snow - in Edinburgh at least - stopped.

There was another light shower sometime in the evening and the pavements were slippy when I left the Parliament about 9.30 pm.

Then I glanced out the flat window at 11.00pm just before I went to bed to see this . Whilst I was doing something else the fall we had been waiting for had arrived.
