Signs of Spring

Sadly, I cannot pretend to have grown them myself, but this is a sure sign that Spring is not that far off
And certainly a welcome antidote to the depressing weather warnings from the Met office and on local TV.
It was a joy to wake and come down this morning to find these daffodils which had been in tight bud when I bought them yesterday had blossomed forth overnight.
OK, so they are shop bought , but what a welcome and heartwarming sight they are!
