Disappearing nine patch

Woke with a sore chest, unsurprisingly, so opted for a day in the warm.
Decided to learn this new technique with these great fabrics. Its not as complicated as it looks. I love the colours, they gave a very cheery feeling as I worked them.

It's the beginning of a lap quilt, and has to now join the unfinished projects pile while I wait for border and backing fabrics to arrive.

Outside there's a gale blowing.
