New neighbours

Meet our new neighbours.
They arrived last night, when it was dark, but I don’t think they will be staying long.
Quite a lot of pleasant sun today, and so the snow is melting fast.
Hope you are all safe and warm, and haven’t had any problems getting about.

I made some delicious leek and potato soup for lunch. New recipe. Certainly going to be making it again.Really warmed us up.
I have also a marmalade and ginger cake in the oven at the moment. I think we will be having a slice with our afternoon tea!
Well you need plenty of food to keep you going in the winter months.
