There was a layer of snow when I got up and before my breakfast I was out ensuring that the birds had plenty of food.  They seemed very appreciative and came in larger numbers than we've seen for a while.

Late morning I cleared the white stuff off the car (but forgot the roof) and set off to Windermere. I was surprised at how little snow there was once I got down the hill ....... except all that slid off the car roof onto my windscreen.

It's mostly been a dull sleety day but somehow I caught one of the few moments of sunshine for the blip.
