Fat Cat

Our friends Nicola and Stewart came for lunch. We served a salmon and asparagus frittata with lentil stuffed peppers and garlic bread. Washed down with a couple of nice beers.

Later in the afternoon I went for a walk down to Shottery. I couldn't get to the brook as they close it off at 4pm but I could see it over the hedge and also saw the primrose coming up in Anne Hathaway's Cottage garden. I walked back via the little row of thatched cottages and spotted this furry cat sitting by the front door, pretty as a picture.
