Hunters
Much cleaning this morning, temporarily thwarted by losing the business-end of the vacuum. Then all to soon the house was full of boys, TallGirl's eyes were rolling, and all the food in the house was suctioned up.
Oddly, the boy who I had thought last time was a bit cheeky, was the epitome of politeness today. Turns out he recently got into Dungeons & Dragons (don't know if that's cause or effect). So they all eschewed (for a while at least) the hundreds of PS4 games and played paper-based D&D.
Then there was a more-complicated-than-planned redelivery of boys to parents, and a lazy pasta dinner.
Five boys and two rabbits in an air locked room with a heater on is not something I'm doing again unless I have a very blocked nose.
One of the boys had twigged this was a sort-of birthday treat and had brought lots of sweets for CarbBoy. Including a multi-pack of Bounty bars. I'm the only one in the house why can eat coconut so, even though they would not be my first choice, I at least have an unstealable treat!
Later, the mayor gave us the delightful news that the rubbish collection folk will allow us to have the bins we want, but will make us pay for v expensive ones. I think instead we will be leaving a pile of bin bags in the road, and we'll see how long they are happy to clean up after the foxes have had their fun.
