What a difference a year makes! This photo was taken last year. Although we have moved from the Columbia River Gorge to the Portland area, still this winter has been dried and milder everywhere in Oregon. 

Last year at this time we had bitter temperatures and snow followed by 1/2" (1.27 cm) of freezing rain. So glad to have avoided that so far this year!
