veg garden

I thought I'd have a nice day pottering about tidying up in my garden, when one thing leads to another. I started off by sweeping up some leaves and ended up cutting back my fushia hedging!
It was over 9' tall and all over the place. Having only moved here a year ago, I decided to not cut back anything the first year, to see what I had.
So now I have a big job on my hands as it is very unrulely.
Anyway I had a real workout - you could say I had a 6 hour session in my green gym!
Cutting, carrying and raking up, not a leisurely job, but a great sense of satisfaction! Not the best pix but gives you an idea of what it's like. Large pile in the photo is one some of the cuttings, now I just need to get a shredder!
