The Stick Family

Ever since she was about 6, Betsy has been drawing cartoon strips featuring a family she created, called The Stick Family. They are very funny and usually revolve around Baby Stick getting his own way, being really naughty but loveable, or getting everyone to run around after him. She has written character profiles for them and Baby Stick is described as being very mischievous, super-clever but sometimes grumpy. Does that sound like a little boy I know? I couldn't possibly comment.

She is working away here on a new volume - always hotly anticipated in our house.

Al is very pleased because he has moved up to the next level in touch typing. He is working very hard.
