A really rough night!

Today's theme for Abstract Thursday (#AT134) is 'mystery object' ....... not that I was very sure it looked like a 'mystery' even though it was taken from an unusual angle ....... so I also played around a little with it ....... but thought I would post both ........ hope you like them :-)

Goodness it was rough last night ....... we had winds of 70-80 miles an hour ...... they were constant & not just gusts!

I didn't get much sleep as there were crashing, banging & clattering noises going on all round outside ....... even the house felt like it was shaking!

There are so many trees down in the county (Lincolnshire) that the Police asked for as many volunteers with the right equipment & knowhow to help clear them all!

Thankfully we survived without any damage ....... even my wig stayed on lol ...... though some around were not quite so lucky!

The storm is now strengthening (90mph winds) & battering The Netherlands ...... do hope you all stay safe over there.
