The first crocus

Molly and I went for a walk down to the woods today. As we came back into the village I spotted this crocus peeping through the grass on one of the green areas. In a few weeks I have no doubt their will be swathes of them (yellow, white and purple) brightening up the road into the village. A sign spring is on the way despite the snow!
