Clinging on

I really wonder with the two big storms swooshing through these days, how did these leaves manage to stay where they are, with all the trees around having taken the tumble???
I heard that it is a hard time for Swiss forest owners as due to all the trees that were felled by the storms the price for wood has plummeted down. And then I think: Forest owners? It sounds so wrong, I think a forest should just be a forest and be there with everything that is living in it, and not be owned by a person.
