Taxi!

Today’s destination was the UK’s newest vehicle factory, the first new one for a decade. It is at Ansty near Coventry, and it is where the London Electric Vehicle Company, as the manufacturer of the iconic black cab is now called, is making its new TX. Goodbye diesel, the new London cab is electric with a range-extender petrol engine. I took one on a test drive, and what a transformation from the old model. Impressed? Definitely.
