Flamingo Flyway

Quite a busy day with several visits from care workers and occupational therapists assessing my mother's needs now she is out of hospital.  I was glad when my bro turned up in the late afternoon so I was free to get out and see some of the first night of Lumiere.     I clocked up several thousand steps around the West End - enjoying the strange feeling of walking along a completely traffic free Regent Street and Piccadilly.  I saw some wonderful installations and have been struggling to choose a blip - so I've decided to go with my first port of call, the lovely flamingo puppet lanterns floating around Gerrard Street in Chinatown.
