So inspiring

Today was the opening of my mother-in-law's second exhibition. The gallery in Titirangi which hosted her first exhibition a year ago, approached her and asked if she would have another. She did feels stressed by the whole process, but went ahead with it. This evening was the opening. There was plenty of interest, and the photo I have blipped shows her talking with a couple of women who are working as artists. The younger of the two frequently used the words I have used as my title for the photo, to describe this nearly 98 year old artist. Especially the comment by m-i-l, that if you feel the creative urge inside you, you have to let it out. (or words to that effect).

She is an example to all of us in her tenacity in expressing herself in colour and shape.
