It’s been snowing hard for a few hours. I was supposed to be driving through to Edinburgh this afternoon but I’ve decided the telephone will suffice today. I don’t know what I’d do for a blip if the goldfinches decided to go.

Last night’s concert was good but photography wasn't permitted. I obeyed this rule, unlike many others using mobile phones to take flash photographs and even record the music. Very distracting and disrespectful, says the grumpy old woman.

The snow’s forecast to last all day so it’s a domestic day for me.
