Birdfeeder is Full

This outdoor feeder is full of the recent snow.... I do not even walk out there. I feed the birds primarily by opening my bedroom window (letting the cold air in) and pour seed on the shelf attached to the house. Close the window and watch the hungry birds.
The ground is nightly being trampled by deer.
The summertime feeder pictured here works when it gets warm and the snow melts.
