Pensthorpe in Winter

I popped into Pensthorpe this morning for a quick walk and to take some photos before going food shopping. It was very cold and crisp and quite beautiful. I couldn't decide which photo to use as my main one, so opted for a 'postcard' instead.

Tip No.7  If you've a particularly dirty job that must be done gloveless, and you're a nail varnish wearer, it stands a better chance of keeping chipless and smooth if you cover each nail completely with a thick layer of clear colourless polish. Also, drag your nails over a damp cake of soap. This packs the space between nail and fingertip, and prevents the dirt getting underneath. When you've finished, clean your hands with some olive oil before washing them.
