Flower Friday

Fortunately, I have plenty of flowers in the kitchen right now.  The unfortunate thing is that they will go to waste because I will be away for 5 days and I am sure they will be spent by the time I return.  I am glad I got a shot of them today.

Lensbaby has revived the macro filters (apparently a favorite with early lensbaby users) and mine arrived today.  This was taken with the Sweet 80 optic, macro converter and the +4 macro filter.  

One of the things I really like about Color EFex Pro4, part of the Nik Collection, is that there is an option to add a colored vignette. Did you know that?   As you probably know, Google bought the Nik Collection, then decided to give it away for free, and no longer support it.  It was a great deal for many people who managed to pick it up for nothing.  I am one of the saps who actually paid for it.  Anyway, DxO has purchased the Nik Collection and are currently working on a new release for sometime this year. I do hope they hang on to this feature.  

Early morning flight…again….At least it will be warmer where I am going.
