Sun and cloud
Today I started the next major report, so I was glued to the computer for the morning. By two o'clock my head was spinning, so I went over to Chris's house to drop off our old television, which will hopefully tide them over until the insurance is all sorted out. I then drove to Southey Wood for a brain-clearing walk.
To be honest, the local countryside's quite dull at the moment, and it's hard to find inspiration. But I decided to have a play with in-camera movement, a technique I love, and came up with some very varied results. This complete abstract is the result of a curving movement of the sky, filtered through a conifer trees. I must admit I was very surprised by the result! I've added a gentler and more traditional scene of six pine trees in the extras.
