Food Supply

Another cold and frosty morning but stunningly beautiful. Having delivered an empty trailer for filling, I started work removing some of my good friend ground elder which was creeping into customer's garden from a neighbour.

Moving to the next garden I was weeding with the sun on my back whilst being serenaded by a robin sitting in a tree above me waiting for his breakfast, a moment to savour.

Next job was to remove some of last seasons rubbish which could not be composted to the bonfire and in doing so, uncovering food for the blackbird pictured.

The extra is one of my favourite photographic subjects, miniature landscapes, this one formed by moss on a log.
