Same pond...

...different duck. This one is a merganser with its striking mohawk. 

The best thing about our short visit to the pond today was that I saw, and video'd, a river otter!!

I couldn't believe my eyes. It was so cool to see it dipping and diving across the pond. I tried to get a still out of the video but couldn't get anything good. Amazing to see something like that in a very urban setting and it makes me happy that this city spends money on habitats.
