Artist At Work

This little Angel is currently bawling in her room because she's had to go to bed without her story. Mr K asked her twice to stop her drawing and sit on the sofa for her story.
Then he told her.
Then mean Mummy said it was too late and she could just go straight to bed without a story.
She has a habit of saying "but I just need/want/have to do x...... " and it infuriates me!
Miss L and I had a relatively active morning reading, tower building and tidying. This afternoon she decided that she wanted to play snuggling up on the sofa under a duvet, stroking Mummy's face while she dozed off.
Fine by me!!!
I had planned to take her to a play centre but we were too comfy to move!
Eventually we dragged ourselves to school to get Miss E and then came home for a paint fest.
Miss E painted a fab bonfire and firework picture.
Miss L splatted a load of paint all over every piece of paper she could lay hands on, the table, herself, the floor, the wall......
Bloody child!
