Autumn evenings

This is the time of the year I like the best.

Chilly clear days, colours changing before our eyes and cosy evenings.

None of that vulgar blowsy summer greenery but rich golden calmness.

All very satisfying.

.......and there's the final of the Bake Off. My money was on Brendan.
