Ganesha
This is a majestic street shrine of Ganesha, god of knowledge with an elephant head.
It is located at a central location in the modern part of Bangkok, not far from another iconic shrine at Erawan.
People come here to pray, they light a candle, burn some encens and offer flowers. The flowers are orange because this is the color of Thai Buddhism. The shrine is white, representing purity and the statue is gold because this is the royal or divine color.
